never take them for granted

What does this quote really means? For whom is this quotes about. Is it for a friend? a family one? or to the one you love? So often, relationships are taken for granted. Certain people become so much a part of us, that we tend to either think they'll always be where we can find them when we need them, or that they're a permanent fixture in our lives that we'll never lose them. But we must remember, all things in life need nurturing, care and a certain degree of effort on our part.
To a friend who is taken for granted. Sometimes we think that our friends will always be there for us. This maybe true but we forgot sometimes that they have also feelings. We forgot them when we are happy and see them when we are sad. Sometimes we drifted away those who really loves us and care for us and give more importance to those who are not a real friend to us. Do not forget that as we taking them granted there is a tendency that one day when we realized how important that friend is, He or She is no longer in our life.
To a parents to their child or a child to their parents. We are all busy working and we one day we will find that a lot of time passed by in us without valuing those people important to us. Parents worked so hard for the future of their children and no longer have time to be with them. Children grew up with their yaya and the parents have no time to play with them. They are taking their children granted and forgot to think that they will also grew up so fast. When they realized that they wanted to play it is now too late. On the other side when the children now grown up and have their own job, they tend to forgot to visit their parents. All they know is as long as they will provide money for their parents it is okay. Never take them granted because there may come a day when you will find yourself without them, either by death or that they are already too old.
To the one we love, either your girlfriend/boyfriend, wife/husband. Sometimes when we get the person we desire to be with we can become relax on the relationship. Thinking that the relationship will last forever without giving an effort to it. When the moment we get them we tend to do the other things we desire and forgot them. Keep in mind that not everyday they are with us. Maybe one day we realized that they no longer love us.
To God. In essence we take for granted what God has given us. We treat our national blessings as though we have always had them and as though we deserve them. And we neglect to live by the rules that build and govern our nation's relationship with God. When we are happy and everything is okay we tend to forgot God and give thanks to him but when we are in deep pain we ask God for us to be heal. When we need something we asked God to give this to us and when we are in confussion we asked God to guide us. In general we were very careful not to be complacent, or neglectful, or to take God for granted in any way.

Never take anyone for granted, whether it be a friend, a lover or partner, a family member or God, because there may come a day when you will find yourself without them, either by death or that they never felt a part of your life and therefore drifted away. Nurture all relationships to the best of your ability. Make those you love feel important and wanted in your life, a TRUE part of your life. You can only feel that much more blessed.
